Cabinet card photograph of the "Bryant Vase," manufactured by Tiffany & Co. circa 1875-1876. The Bryant vase was commissioned in honor of William Cullen Bryant's in 80th birthday in 1874 and designed by James Horton Whitehouse. It was shown at the 1976 Centennial International Exhibit in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1876. This photograph was published by the Centennial Photographic Company for that occasion. |
