"The Black Crook" was performed in 1866-1868 at the theatre, Niblo's Garden, opened by Green-Wood resident William Niblo (1789-1875) (Lot 6618, Sec. 26). The Manager of Niblo's Garden, William Wheatley (1816-1876), also interred at Green-Wood, produced and directed the original run (Lot 16848, Sec. K). Music was conducted by Harvey B. Dodworth (1822-1891), a resident of Green-Wood (Lot 10151). |
